Maya copy trading fees and the 0% holder benefit

Standard Maya service fees are 2% on executions; verified qualifying dashboard holders pay 0%, with gas and venue costs separate.

The short answer

Maya’s standard service fee is 2% on executed copied buys and sells. A verified holding of at least 10,000,000 MAYA in your Maya dashboard wallet on Base qualifies for 0% Maya service fees across supported copy chains. Network gas, venue fees and slippage remain separate.

What the 2% service fee applies to

The fee applies to an executed copied buy or sell. It is not a percentage of everything you deposit, and it does not depend on a position being profitable. A skipped signal does not create an executed trade fee. Paper activity does not create payable live rewards.

At the standard rate, a $100 execution creates a $2 Maya service fee. If you later sell $120 of tokens, the service fee on that execution is $2.40. The two fees total $4.40. These examples exclude gas and venue charges and do not describe an investment return.

Where the qualifying MAYA must be held

Keep at least 10,000,000 MAYA in your Maya dashboard EVM wallet on Base. MAYA in a separate external wallet does not qualify just because you own it. Staking and liquidity positions are also excluded. Check the receiving address and token contract before transferring.

The verified Base holding covers Maya service fees on supported copy networks, including eligible Solana copies. It does not move your Base cash to Solana or supply gas there. Fee eligibility and trading readiness are separate checks.

Balance checks and the remaining costs

Holdings are rechecked within 60 seconds. The standard service rate applies when eligibility cannot be verified. A recent transfer may need confirmation and a balance refresh before the account reflects it. Do not assume an external-wallet screenshot establishes the exemption.

The benefit removes Maya’s service fee. It does not remove blockchain gas, venue charges, price impact or slippage. A 0% service-fee account can still lose money trading. Keep native gas on the source network for the transactions you intend to make.

How the 50 / 25 / 25 allocation works

Eligible collected copy fees allocate 50% to the protocol, 25% to the copied Fomo creator and 25% to an eligible direct referrer. With a $2 fee, those amounts are $1, $0.50 and $0.50. Unassigned shares remain with the protocol. A known creator without a verified recipient retains unpaid credits.

A zero-fee trade produces no new fee-funded creator or referral allocation. There is no reward pool to split from a fee that was not charged. Older credit records retain their recorded terms rather than being rewritten to match a newer rate.

Credits and completed rewards are different

Creator credits are intended to fund purchased MAYA on Base. Direct-referral credits are intended as USDC on Base, subject to eligibility, maturity and settlement rules. Automated reward delivery and fee bridging are not active. A credit records an allocation; a completed payment requires its own transaction.

The copied trade’s receipt proves that trade, not a separate transfer to the creator or referrer. Use Protocol to review recorded credits and available payment records. Do not describe an accrued dollar amount as tokens already received.

Virtuals fees have their own allocation

Virtuals creator revenue from MAYA token trading is separate from Maya copy-service fees. Identified revenue actually received allocates 50% to the protocol and 50% to MAYA buyback and burn. Copy fees do not fund that burn bucket.

Purchases, token transfers and burns require separate evidence. The current public ledger does not contain reconciled Virtuals creator-fee receipts, so an unavailable total should not be read as zero lifetime earnings. Buyback and burn automation remains inactive.
