How to check the right Telegram account before funding

Check the identity shown in Maya and verify the receiving wallet before sending funds.
Check the identity before you check the balance
After signing in, read the Telegram name shown in Maya. Then open Wallet and confirm the public address for the network you plan to fund. A familiar profile photo is not enough: people can operate several Telegram accounts or change their displayed name.
Different Telegram identities have different Maya accounts and wallets. Sending money to a previously used address does not move it into the account currently open in your browser.
Why signing out can return the same Telegram account
The website session and Telegram’s login session are separate. Signing out of Maya may leave Telegram signed in. When the Telegram login window opens, check which account it proposes and switch or sign out there if necessary.
Inside Telegram’s mini app, change the active Telegram account before opening the bot. A separate private browser window can help isolate a web login, but you must still verify the identity returned on screen.
Use an address check, not memory
Copy the destination directly from the current Wallet deposit screen. Compare the beginning and end of the address with the sending wallet, confirm the network and make a small first transfer. Check confirmation before sending a larger amount.
One EVM address can appear on several networks without sharing balances between them. A correct-looking address on the wrong chain still leaves funds unavailable for the copy you intended.
If you opened the wrong account
Stop before depositing or granting new permissions. Use Switch Telegram account and verify the returned name and wallet. Do not create replacement wallets to chase a balance that belongs to another login.
For support, provide the public account identity, receiving address, network and transaction hash if a transfer occurred. Never send a private key, recovery phrase or login code. A wallet balance and its transfer history are the evidence to reconcile, not a reason to reset a funded account.
