How to check a deposit address and network together
In brief
A correct-looking address is only one part of a safe transfer; the sending and receiving networks must also match.
The receiving address and network are one decision
Before sending a deposit, open the current Maya Wallet deposit screen and choose the network. Copy the address from that screen. Confirm the same network in the sending wallet or exchange; matching address characters alone is not enough.
An EVM address can receive tokens on multiple networks without combining them into one balance. A transfer sent on Base will not fund an Ethereum copy. Solana also uses a separate address from your EVM wallet.
Check the token that will actually arrive
Use the trading cash listed for the selected network: USDC on Solana, Base, Ethereum and BNB Chain; USDG on Robinhood Chain. A similar ticker or another dollar-pegged token may not be supported as the cash input for copying.
When the sender offers several withdrawal networks or bridged asset versions, inspect the destination asset and any available contract information. Do not choose a cheaper network until you know that it matches the Maya wallet and cash asset you intend to use.
Make the first transfer small
Compare the beginning and end of the pasted address. Review the network fee and amount that will arrive. A small first deposit can establish that the chosen route reaches the intended wallet before you transfer a larger balance.
After confirmation, inspect Wallet and History. If indexing is delayed, use the transaction hash to check the destination and token on the chain explorer. Refreshing a stale balance is different from sending another deposit.
Receiving cash does not fund outgoing gas
A recipient does not normally need native gas simply to receive tokens. The later buy, sale or withdrawal usually does. Add a native gas reserve on the same network before expecting your copy to execute.
If the transfer is confirmed but Maya shows an unfamiliar balance, collect the public hash, network and token details for support. Never reset a funded account or share private keys to diagnose a deposit.
Your next step
Put the guide into practice.
Review the setup in Maya. Check your mode, wallet and rules before starting.
