How a stale balance differs from a failed transaction
In brief
A balance snapshot may lag a confirmed action; the transaction receipt answers what happened on-chain.
Check the transaction before judging the display
Check the public hash, network and receiving address before refreshing repeatedly. Compare the snapshot time with the transfer time. A display that has not yet reconciled does not establish the blockchain outcome, and the lack of a visible success dialog does not establish failure.
Worked example
A confirmed action can precede the balance refresh
A confirmed deposit can precede the next account snapshot. Its network receipt and the later balance update are related evidence with different timestamps.
